The Juneau Youth Wrestling Club, the Tornados, is an instructional league intended to help kids of all ages learn about wrestling and sportsmanship.
Why wrestling? Why not!
- Wrestling teaches children to tap into their inner strength and power
- Wrestling develops the character to persevere through hard work
- Wrestling helps young athletes find a "never surrender" attitude that can be applied outside the sport
- Wrestling is indoors and keeps kids active during the cold, wet winter and spring months
- Wrestling is one of the oldest sports on record, and encourages self-confidence and self-restraint
- Wrestling contributes to the development of a well-rounded personality
Most importantly, WRESTLING IS FUN!
